- Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute Technical Tour

What: The Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI) of the University of Maryland is the State’s comprehensive training and education system for emergency services. The institute plans, researches, develops, and delivers quality programs to enhance the ability of emergency services providers to protect life, the environment, and property.
MFRI is the State’s fire and emergency service training agency. During this general facilities tour, get a better understanding of how the institute operates, the various types of training that are performed, and witness a fire extinguisher demonstration on the proper way to extinguish a fire.
When: Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please plan on joining us for a networking lunch on your own after the tour, location to be determined in College Park!
